Abstract / Introduction

Polio remains a significant public health concern in Pakistan. The government runs frequent vaccination campaigns, but many children miss vaccinations due to lack of awareness, unavailability, or scheduling conflicts. This project proposes a Polio Vaccination Portal, a web-based application designed to help parents, healthcare workers, and government officials manage and track polio vaccinations efficiently. The portal will provide parents with an easy way to register their children and check vaccination schedules. Healthcare workers will be able to update vaccination records and report unvaccinated children, while government administrators can monitor campaign progress through dashboards.

Functional Requirements:

User Panel (Parents / Guardians)

·         Users can create an account.

·         Users can register their children by providing basic details (Name, Age, Location, etc.).

·         Users can view upcoming vaccination schedules.

·         Users can report a missed vaccination and request a new appointment.

·         Users can download vaccination certificates for school admission or travel purposes.
