RULES FOR MARKING

It should be clear that your assignment would not get any credit if:

1. The assignment is submitted after the due date.
2. The submitted assignment does not open, or the file is corrupt.
3. Strict action will be taken if the submitted solution is copied from any other student or from the internet.

You should be concerned with the recommended books to clarify your concepts, as handouts are not sufficient.

You are supposed to submit your assignment in .doc or docx format.

Any other formats like scanned images, PDF, zip, rar, ppt, and bmp, etc., will not be accepted.

1. Difference between VMware and Hyper-V

i.                    Identify Key Features: Students will be able to compare the core features, capabilities, and system requirements of VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.

ii.                   Evaluate Use Cases: Students will be able to evaluate VMware or Hyper-V based on organizational needs, budget, and technical requirements.

iii.                 Analyze Performance and Compatibility: Students will be able to analyze the performance, compatibility, and integration options of VMware and Hyper-V

2. Virtual Box

i.        Understand the fundamentals of Oracle VirtualBox and its role in virtualization.

ii.                   Learn how to install and configure VirtualBox on various operating systems.

iii.                 Explore the steps to create, manage, and optimize virtual machines using VirtualBox.

iv.                 A VirtualBox-based hands-on lab to create and configure.

NOTE

No assignment will be accepted after the due date via email, regardless of circumstances (including load shedding or internet malfunction). Hence, refrain from uploading the assignment in the last hour before the deadline. It is recommended to upload your solution file at least two days before its closing date.
